Finding Strength in the Chaos: A Mom’s Story
It was one of those mornings. The baby was crying, my toddler had just dumped an entire box of cereal on the floor, and I was running on three hours of sleep. As I stood there, overwhelmed and on the verge of tears, I felt completely inadequate.
In that moment, a verse came to mind—Philippians 4:13:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
I whispered it like a prayer, clinging to the words as I took a deep breath. The mess was still there, the baby still needed me, but suddenly, I felt a shift—not in my circumstances, but in my heart. I wasn’t doing this alone. God was with me, giving me the strength to get through one moment at a time.
Since that day, I’ve kept Bible verses of encouragement on my fridge, in my diaper bag, and even on my phone’s lock screen. Whether it’s Isaiah 40:31 reminding me that God renews my strength or Psalm 46:1 declaring that He is my refuge, His Word has been my anchor through the exhausting, beautiful, chaotic journey of motherhood.
Motherhood is tough, but God is tougher—and His strength never runs out, even when mine does. 💛

It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
