These creative and love-filled craft ideas make Valentine’s Day extra special for your little ones!

Love Bug Craft 🐞

    • Materials: Paper hearts, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, scissors, and glue.
    • Create adorable love bugs by folding and attaching paper hearts for wings and using pipe cleaners for antennae.

    Stained Glass Hearts 💗

    • Materials: Wax paper, tissue paper, scissors, and glue.
    • Cut out heart shapes and fill them with colorful tissue paper to create “stained glass” decorations. You then have the option of adding some string and hanging them up on the window as a sun catcher.

    Heart Garland 💗

    • Materials: Construction paper, scissors, string, and tape.
    • Make a chain of paper hearts or single hearts to decorate and make your garland. You have the option to make hearts out of felt and stuff them with cotton for a fancier version. Cut a small hole in each heart and thread a small amount string through to tie each heart onto the garland.

    Heart wreath 💗

    • Materials: Construction paper, scissors, string, glue, wire, and tape.
    • Cut single hearts to decorate and make your wreath. Shape the wire into a circle or love heart shape. Then attach single hearts with glue for a beautiful heart garland that you can hang on your door.

    Valentine’s Day Mason Jar Lanterns ❤️

    • Materials: Mason jars, tissue paper, glue, LED tea lights, and ribbon.
    • Kids can decorate jars with tissue paper hearts and place tea lights inside to create glowing lanterns. I love dollar tree for these supplies they always have loads of LED tea lights, mason jars and tissue paper for only a dollar.

    Love Letters for Family Members 💌

    • Materials: Paper, envelopes, markers.
    • Instructions: Encourage kids to write love letters to parents, siblings, or grandparents. Decorate the letters with drawings or stickers.
    • Why it’s great: Helps kids practice expressing gratitude and love in words.

    Handprint Heart Art 🖐❤️

    • Materials: Paper and paint.
    • Instructions: Paint kids’ hands and create a heart shape on paper. Add a sweet message or their names for a keepsake!

    Heart-Shaped Bird Feeders 🐦🍴

    • Materials: Birdseed, gelatin, and heart cookie cutter.
    • Instructions: Mix birdseed with gelatin, shape it into hearts with the heart shaped cookie cutters, and hang them outside.

    • Instructions: Use construction paper to create crowns decorated with hearts, glitter, and stickers.
