hey there!

I’m Vanessa

I am an Australian mother, raising her three young children in Salt Lake City, Utah.

I created this space to provide uplifting and practical spiritual and family guidance for singles and families rooted in the principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

As members of the LDS faith ourselves, we understand the unique joys and challenges of growing up and raising children in today’s world while striving to live according to gospel teachings.

Our Mission

Is to support and inspire LDS parents as they navigate the rewarding journey of parenthood.

Through insightful articles, personal anecdotes, and expert advice, we aim to foster stronger family bonds, nurture faith-filled homes, and empower parents to raise righteous, resilient children who are prepared to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and integrity.

Whether you’re seeking guidance on
teaching gospel principles, fostering communication within your family, or navigating the complexities of modern parenting, you’ll find a wealth of resources and encouragement here at LDS Mum.

We want to hear from you

It takes a village to raise a child, and here at LDS Mum, we embrace that philosophy wholeheartedly. We believe that parenting is not a journey meant to be traveled alone, but rather one that thrives within the support and collective wisdom of a community.

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we recognize the importance of surrounding ourselves with like-minded individuals who share our values and beliefs.

Our blog serves as a virtual village where LDS parents can come together to share experiences, offer support, and learn from one another.

We want to hear your thoughts, and opinions and create a community of articles and advice. After all, there are 100’s of 1,000s LDS Mums.

Together, we can strengthen families, uplift one another, and fulfill the divine mandate to “rear [our] children in love and righteousness” (Doctrine and Covenants 68:28).

Welcome to our village!
